Rutland 147.045 repeater Commands for Tone Control
The Rutland 147.045 repeater has been set up for tone on/off commands that anyone can use. Even if the repeater is in "tone" mode, you DO NOT need tone to send commands to the repeater. Only a DTMF keypad is required.

  • Use 6* to put the repeater in the "normal" mode we use.
  • Use 7* to put the repeater in tone-only mode.

Please note that when in tone-only mode, the "up-600" receiver will NOT activate the repeater, since there is NO tone on the link transmitter at this time.

Q. How do I turn the Rutland link ON/OFF?

All IRLP links are activated and de-activated by using DTMF tones received by the IRLP radio/computer.  You must contact Frank, W1AD via email,  for access details.  IRLP has no control over which pre-access code some nodes may choose to use to connect and disconnect.
